Standard Access

10 CPD Hours (including 3 "learning with others")

This course is designed for practitioners of all experience levels, to help refine and improve your communication skills. Health coaching skills have been included as part of the NHS Long Term Plan, and Motivational Interviewing skills have been utilised for many years to support behaviour change. As such, formalising your training in these skills can be invaluable for your career longevity and the success of your patient interactions and practice. The course is written to address the problems that are most frequently encountered in clinical practice, including why patients don't take action, how to identify unmotivated patients and what to do about it, overcoming persistent negative thinking, managing multiple concerns in a limited appointment time, and so much more.

Setting the standard of online training

Written by clinicians, for clinicians, this course has also been independently reviewed by senior educators to ensure it meets the high standards required of online clinical training.
